Company Profile

I qualified in 2004 after 3 years training and became BACP accredited in September 2007. I am continually developing myself professionally. Additional training includes sexual abuse, trauma, psychosexual issues, cognitive therapy and depression, solution-focused therapy and shame. My current studies include a practitioner's certificate in eating disorders and addictions.
Over the last few years I have worked with a range of different people from varying backgrounds with issues that have been mild, moderate or severe. I worked for 2 years with Bromley Community Counselling Service, 3 years at “Off-the-Record” Youth Counselling Agency in Croydon and presently work as an adult counsellor for the charity Bridge Counselling, where I have been for 5 years. I also helped develop a counselling service within a boys secondary school.
I can work in a short-term focused way or longer term concentrating more widely and in-depth. I have experience communicating with people with hearing impairments using lip-reading skills supported by sign language.
