I am a trained person-centred counsellor with over 20 years experience of working with women, and girls from the age of 13 years who have suffered trauma and depression as a result of physical, sexual emotional violence and childhood abuse. I have experience of working on adoption and trans-racial, intercountry adoption issues and have supported clients in exploring issues of loss, identity and searching. I offer a safe and confidential space to support women in a therapeutic and healing process that aims to work at her own pace and acknowledges that each woman is unique. The counselling process aims to support women in a process that is empowering, by enabling women to work through emotions and life experiences in a context that is safe, confidential and non-judgemental.
