I am a counsellor and play therapist, offering short or long term therapy for adults, teenagers and children. With a Person-Centred and Gestalt background, working creatively, offering different mediums to suit each of my clients needs. My experience includes anxiety, depression, low self esteem and confidence, eating disorders, bereavement, abuse, trauma, anger management and relationships.

Having an earlier career in education, I am able to employ a variety of non-threatening strategies suitable for teenagers and children. A young person may enter therapy because of life changing circumstances such as family change, separation, bereavement, illness, school difficulties, bullying or abuse. Alternatively they may simply benefit from greater self expression, increased confidence or social skills.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Association of Play Therapists and can also offer therapy in Portuguese.

My qualifications include an MA in Counselling Practice, a Diploma in Play Therapy, an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology and a BA in Education. I am also CRB checked.
